Two considerations are important for pole hedge trimmers, weight and maximum reach. Obviously a pole hedgecutter that does not comfortably reach the top of the hedge is impractical. Again choose a weight that you are comfortable with. The Pro models tend to retain higher power whilst being somewhat lighter.
